Heart of the City is an ambitious smart city initiative that required a comprehensive digital platform to connect all stakeholders in urban development — from residents and local businesses to city planners and municipal services. The Challenge: The client needed a single platform where residents could access city services, report issues, book community spaces, and stay informed about local developments. The existing systems were siloed and residents had to visit multiple websites and offices. Our Solution: We built a unified smart city portal using React with a mobile-first approach, integrated with IoT sensors for real-time city data, and connected to existing municipal databases. The platform includes a citizen engagement module, service request system, and community marketplace.
